Position Summary
This position is responsible for coordinating the admission processes for traditional program students, serving as primary recorder for PEAC committee, serving as primary support for the Assistant Director of Professional Education and center advisors and providing graphic design support for Director and Assistant Director of Planning and Research.
Required Qualifications
Education equivalent to the completion of high school.
At least four years of progressively responsible clerical experience of a qualifying nature or a combination of education and experience that equates to four years of progressively responsible qualifying work experience.
Experience with Microsoft Word or related word processing software.
Spreadsheet and/or database experience may be required.
Demonstrated organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to accurately perform work assignments and construct documents.
Demonstrated experience working with financial records may be required.
Experience coordinating the work of others may be required.
Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and project a positive image.
Ability to perform the essential functions and requirements of the job.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Access.
Experience with Student Life Cycle Management.

Duties & Responsibilities
Collects, compiles, creates, and disaggregates complex data related to MTTC (Michigan Test for Teacher Certification).
Professional Education program review site for all mandated program reviews for the entire Professional Education Unit.
Provides calendar scheduling and other clerical support to the Director of Professional Education.
Compiles, creates and updates all MTTC information for the entire Professional Education Unit.
Coordinates admission processes for traditional program students.
Maintains email ListServs and sends messages related to Center for Student Services, Office of Planning and Research and Professional Education Unit.
Provides graphic design support for the Office of Planning and Research.
Designs and assists in creation of publications, presentations and professional education events using appropriate computer design software.
Serves as the primary recorder for PEAC committee meetings.
Completes projects assigned by the Director of Professional Education or designee.
Provides additional support for teacher education certification and special projects.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
