Position Summary
Reports to the Director, Graduate Programs/Global Campus with secondary responsibilities to the Dean/EHS or Dean's Designee and Department Chair/TEPD. This position oversees all duties and responsibilities relating to delivery of the Master of Arts degree in Education through Global Campus. This includes oversight of the MA in Education degree program curriculum and student support services.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an Education related discipline from an accredited institution.
One year Academic and/or administrative experience related to Education programs in an academic environment.
Successful teaching experience.
Knowledge of, and demonstrated commitment to, the PK-12 education environment.
Experience with online education.
Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to project a positive image and work successfully in a team environment.
Ability to travel as needed (including international travel).
Ability to perform the essential functions and requirements of the job.
Preferred Qualifications
Earned Master's or Doctorate degree in an Education related discipline.
Knowledge of higher education academic program management techniques, adult learning, curriculum development protocols, and non-traditional education.
Experience teaching in the collegiate environment.
Successful experience leading strategic planning, substantive and decisive evaluation of academic programs, learning outcomes assessment and accreditation, developing interdisciplinary programs and the application of new technologies.
Experience working with Education accreditation and certification processes.
Graduate student advising experience.
Demonstrated ability to establish credibility, earn respect as an effective problem solver, affect change to enhance program outcomes, and guide projects from concept to completion throughout the unit, the University, and the wider educational community.
Experience working in a PK-18 (primary, secondary, and post-secondary) environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Oversees the daily operations of the MA in Education program.
Monitors the quality, efficiency, and successful delivery of the MA in Education program.
Monitors accreditation and certification requirements for Georgia, Canada, and other geographic regions as they relate to the program.
Oversees and responds to student issues and concerns.
Reviews, approves, and processes student paperwork (e.g. change of grade requests, incomplete extension requests, waivers for admission requirements, waivers for degree requirements, tutorial and independent study requests, etc.).
Approves academic program plans.
Approves Research Review Applications.
Oversees adjunct faculty orientation/s.
Oversees and conducts student academic orientation.
Leads formalized university academic program review.
Participates in annual program assessment, including data collection and entry.
Maintains and updates MA in Education program Student Research Handbook and Student Research Application process.
Proposes to departments and the MA in Education Council programmatic changes, existing course changes, and new course development to meet accreditation, certification, and market needs.
Establishes a faculty communication plan.
Establishes a student communication plan.
Evaluates curricular course sequence maps for all program concentrations and sets direction accordingly.
Oversees adjunct faculty teaching in the MA in Education program.
Performs other duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
