Position Summary
Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day activities of the Clarke Library's grant-funded, National Digital Newspaper Project, including production of scans, ensuring appropriate production targets and technical standards are maintained, and that all activities meet the specifications outlined in The National Digital Newspaper Program (NDNP) Technical Guidelines for Applicants (2014).
Required Qualifications
Associates degree or equivalent.
One year related work experience.
Experience in working with scanning/digitizing.
Experience working with social media.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in large scale scanning projects, preferably involving microfilm.
Experience performing archival quality work including meeting stringent quality control criteria.
Experience creating library or library-like metadata for the control of scanned images.
Demonstrated knowledge of library/archival criteria in the area of and archival digitization.
Past supervisory experience.
Demonstrated skills in three specific social media platforms, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
Demonstrated ability to maintain detailed records.
Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to shift priorities according to current needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in performing digitization, performs quality review of all assets and related activities for digitizing material from microfilm to ensure appropriate standards are maintained.
Assists in developing delivery schedules; assists in maintaining tracking system for deliverables; assists in maintaining all project related files.
Creates documentation, and maintains complete and accurate records of all work performed.
Creates, coordinates, and personally implements social media publicity for project.
Assists in supervision of student employees.
Other duties as assigned.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
