Position Summary
The Department of Political Science and Public Administration invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning in Fall 2015. We seek a broadly trained scholar in public/nonprofit administration, with primary teaching emphases in strategic leadership and nonprofit management. A secondary emphasis in a field of executive management is desirable.
Required Qualifications
All candidates must be able to teach introductory public and nonprofit administration courses. Ph.D. (ABD near completion)in Political Science, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or in a field of study closely related to the nonprofit sector required. A commitment to teaching and research is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. preferred. Professional experience in public service is preferred. Successful teaching experience preferred. Willingness to contribute to the success of our off-campus practitioner-focused MPA is preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
