On Site HR Account Manager (Mt. Pleasant, MI)

We are seeking a dedicated, driven, experienced On Site HR/ Account Manager to join our team in Mt. Pleasant, MI. Successful candidate will be responsible mentoring and managing multiple direct reports.
SUMMARY
The On Site HR/Account Manager will support the operations of Acro's On-Site staffing location at our client facility. Will coordinate recruiting and candidate on-boarding processes; Maintain and nurture relationships with temporary employees; Fill in as On-Site Coordinator as needed; Take responsibility for resolving candidate flow and service delivery issues including but not limited to quantity and quality.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring all customer job requirements are filled and all customer service level expectations are met or exceeded.
Manage a formal recruiting plan and candidate on-boarding process in support of local On-Site staffing operations. The expectation is that adequate time will be spent recruiting and networking in the surrounding communities in order to maintain a constant flow of qualified applicants.
Assume responsibility for client staffing/headcount needs, including candidate screening, evaluation, testing, orientation, front-office system data input, file utilization, and placement.
Become cross-trained in all functions of On-Site management, and be able to successfully manage the On-Site operations as needed.
Work on special projects (e.g. conventions, job fairs, client events, internal teams, etc.
Expected to work collaboratively with other Acro offices and teams at all times.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Other duties as may be assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Bachelors degree, additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience
o 5 years light industrial staffing industry experience in an onsite, managed service environment. Human resources experience is desirable.
o Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team of direct reports.
Skills
Must be able to effectively develop good relationships with program mangers, associate vendors, employees, and managers. Must be able to communicate with all levels of employee's and client staff and handle all aspects of a large customer base. Professional demeanor and deportment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills; Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
Ability to work with all types of people, including listening and understanding, conveying ideas and opinions.
Ability to develop close business relationships with client personnel and temporary employees while protecting and furthering Acro's business interests.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to handle conflict well.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have proficient computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel).
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources/Business Administration
PHR or SPHR certification
Experience
6+ years related work experience in the staffing industry and Human Resource
3+ years managing a team of direct reports
Manufacturing/Light Industrial experience or understanding
Skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
Technology savvy

May be required to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds (box of copier paper)

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an office within a manufacturing setting.
The noise level in the work area is moderate.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
